Sage Terms of Service
Last updated: August 30, 2026
Welcome to Sage, an Organization Engine — a personal dashboard that brings your to‑dos, calendar, email, news, weather, sports, goals, and a built‑in assistant (Ivy) into one place. Sage is operated by SageOE LLC, an Illinois limited liability company ("SageOE", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using Sage, you agree to these terms.
Using Sage
- You must provide accurate account information and are responsible for activity under your account.
- You must be at least 13 years old to use Sage.
- Sage is a young product built by a very small team, and it changes often. Features may be added, altered, or retired. We aim to keep it running and to give notice of a change that would take something away from you, but we cannot promise uninterrupted service. Where you are paying, what happens if we discontinue a feature or the service is set out under Subscriptions and billing below.
- Use Sage lawfully; don't attempt to disrupt, reverse‑engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the service or other users' data.
Your content & connected accounts
You keep ownership of the content you add (to‑dos, notes, goals, etc.). When you connect Google or Microsoft, you grant Sage read access to display your calendar and email and to give Ivy context. On the web you can disconnect at any time in Settings → Integrations, which stops further syncing; the iOS app cannot yet, and revoking Sage's access from Google or Microsoft does the same thing from any device. See our Privacy Policy for details.
The Ivy assistant
Ivy helps you prepare and organize; it does not act on your behalf outside the app and can make mistakes. Don't rely on it for professional medical, legal, or financial advice — confirm important decisions with a qualified professional.
Subscriptions and billing
Sage has a free tier that does not expire. Some features — Ivy, the Morning Routine, the Sage Briefing, Saved Prompts and voice capture (including the Apple Watch app) — need a paid subscription. The Apple Watch app has no other function, so it needs one too.
- Prices. Sage Premium is $10 per month or $100 per year. Founding‑member pricing, when offered, is $5 per month or $50 per year and stays at that price for as long as the subscription remains active and uninterrupted. All prices are in U.S. dollars and exclude any tax that applies where you live.
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period — monthly or annual, matching the plan you chose — at the then‑current price for that plan, until you cancel. We will tell you before any price change affecting you takes effect.
- Cancelling on the web. Settings → General → Your plan → Manage billing, which opens Stripe's billing portal. Cancelling stops the next renewal; your subscription stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for, and then the account moves to the free tier. Your data stays where it is.
- Cancelling on iOS. Purchases made in the iOS app are billed by Apple, and only Apple can cancel or refund them: Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Deleting the Sage app, or your Sage account, does not cancel an Apple subscription — you must cancel it with Apple.
- Refunds. For web subscriptions, if Sage is not what you expected, email us within 30 days of a charge and we will refund it — we would rather you did not pay for something you are not using. Refunds for iOS purchases are handled by Apple under their policy; we cannot issue them.
- If we discontinue the paid service, we will cancel active subscriptions and refund the unused portion of any period you have paid for.
- Failed payments. If a renewal fails, the account moves to the free tier. Nothing is deleted — your content stays and is readable — but paid features stop until payment succeeds.
Disclaimers & liability
Sage is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential damages, or for data loss. We keep backups and work to protect your data, but you're encouraged to keep your own copies of anything critical.
Changes & termination
We may update these terms or the service as Sage evolves; continued use means you accept the changes. If a change materially affects a subscription you are paying for, we will tell you before it takes effect.
You can stop using Sage at any time, and you can delete your account yourself — on the web from Settings → General → Account, and on iOS from Settings → Account → Delete account. Deletion removes your content permanently and cancels a web subscription as part of the same step; an Apple subscription must be cancelled with Apple first, and Sage will refuse to delete the account until it is. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.
